I've been interested in UNESCO World Heritage sites from 2006 onwards. My work contains lots of travel, but I also spend most of holidays traveling somewhere. While I do not select my destinations based on world heritage considerations, I try to visit new world heritage sites whenever possible. My most impressive site: too long to list, pretty much every natural site (but especially Iguacu and Los Glaciares), some of the more remote sites where getting there is part of the fun (e.g., Wadi Al-Hitan or Australian Mammal Fossil Sites) and finally some of the more impressive monuments in the world (e.g., Mezquita, Petra, Alhambra and Angkor)

My proposal for a new site: Castles of Ludwig II in Bavaria Works of Salvador Dali (e.g., museum in Figueres) Torres del Paine National Park, Beagle Channel Marine Life Areas, Seoraksan National Park (South Korea)
