Hello fellow explorers! I'm thrilled to be part of this community of World Heritage Site enthusiasts. My journey into this passion began in 2022 with a visit to Tikal. Witnessing the pride of the local community in Tikal, a site celebrated for its unique blend of natural and cultural heritage, sparked a newfound passion in me.
To my delight, I realized afterward that my previous trips had already steered me toward numerous WHS. Luckily, Europe's rich tapestry of heritage sites had been a backdrop to many of my journeys, unbeknownst to me at the time.
Since that trip, exploring World Heritage Sites has become a big passion. It perfectly matches my love for history with the joy of travel. What excites me most about this journey is that it has not only provided me with a sense of direction but has also taken me off the beaten path, to extraordinary places far beyond the usual tourist trails. Luckily my now-wife shares this passion with me and together we aim to visit as many WHS as possible together :)
My most impressive site: Tikal
