Hello, my name is Thijs. I am from the Netherlands but "live" in Hawaii. I graduated in December 2014 from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies. I am so passionate about world heritage sites. World Heritage sites are in danger due to climate change, war, environmental issues, poachers, vandals and more. So, I want to spread awareness of these dangers to World Heritage sites in order for people to understand the importance of their heritage. Once lost, never regained.

My most impressive site: Angkor, Cambodia

My proposal for a new site: York, UK
