Cabo Verde
Cabo Verde accepted the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on 28 April 1988. It has a single cultural site inscribed: Cidade Velha, the Historic Centre of Ribeira Grande, which reflects early European colonial urban planning in the tropics, fortified architecture, and its role in Atlantic maritime trade and the slave economy
