Chile
Chile ratified the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on 20 February 1980. Its List so far features only cultural sites. Cultural nominations include Easter Island’s moai and colonial architecture. Natural listings found on the Tentative List protect Patagonia’s glaciers (Torres del Paine) and coastal–Andean ecosystems.
