Paraguay
Paraguay ratified the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on April 27, 1988. It has one inscribed cultural site: the Jesuit Missions of La Santísima Trinidad de Paraná and Jesús de Tavarangue, reflecting its focus on cultural heritage—particularly Baroque missionary settlements in colonial South America. Its Tentative List includes both natural and cultural properties, such as rainforest reserves (e.g., Mbaracayú), rock art, railway infrastructure, national parks and cultural landscapes like yerba mate production zones.
