Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Kitts and Nevis accepted the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on July 10, 1986. It has one cultural site inscribed—Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park—a well‑preserved example of 17th–18th century military architecture built by enslaved Africans, reflecting colonial fortifications and the Atlantic slave trade. Its Tentative List includes historic urban zones in Basseterre and Charlestown.
