Serbia
Serbia ratified the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on 11 September 2001, inheriting its status from the former Yugoslavia. All of its inscribed properties to date are cultural, featuring medieval religious and funerary architecture—such as Stari Ras and Sopoćani, Studenica Monastery, Gamzigrad‑Romuliana, and the Stećci Medieval Tombstone Graveyards.
