Slovakia
Slovakia ratified the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on March 31, 1993, , inheriting its status from the former Czechoslovakia. Its World Heritage properties include both cultural and natural sites, ranging from medieval towns and wooden churches to karst caves and ancient beech forests. Transboundary cooperation is also present in several inscriptions.
