La Table de Jugurtha à Kalaat-Senen
The Jugurtha Tableland is a large mesa (flat-top elevation) near the town of Kalaat es Senam. Archeological findings from the Numidian, Roman, Byzantine, Islamic, Ottoman and colonial periods have been excavated. The location is linked with “The defeat of Jugurtha”, where Numidian resistance gave way to the Romans and thus the occupation of North Africa.
