Namdapha National Park

Namdapha National Park is a remote, forested area in Arunachal Pradesh. It is steep, mountainous terrain. With more than 1,000 floral and about 1,400 faunal species, it is a biodiversity hotspot in the Eastern Himalayas. Notable mammals include the endemic and critically endangered Namdapha flying squirrel, and Malayan sun bear, Indian wolf and Asiatic black bear. The proposal also includes the adjoining Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary and Jairampur Forest Division.
