Shokhimardon Mountains is a natural propriety of nut forests, relicts of the tertiary broad-leave forest of Central Asia, situated on the northern slope of the Alai Range. It is situated in a Uzbek exclave within Kyrgyzstan. The dossier mentions large glaciers, huge mountain rivers and high-mountain lakes, but unless it becomes transnational, those last elements are all in Kyrgyzstan.
