The Treasures of the Pazyryk Culture comprises the burial mounds (kurgans) and petroglyphs of the Pazyryk Culture in the Altai Republic. The Pazyryks were horse-riding pastoral nomads of the steppe, living from the 6th – 3rd century BC. Their artifacts (including textile with the depiction of horses) and mummified humans have been excavated from the Siberian permafrost, most notably at the site of the Ukok Plateau.
