Since 1997, I have traveled extensively with a focus on World Heritage Sites (WHS) while working in ICT management. I quit in 2022, and since then, I have been dedicating all my time to WHS (including running this website) and WH travel.

Plans for 2025

Scotland in August

Big Trip to #1,000 (November/December)

My most impressive site: Kathmandu Valley (Nepal)

My proposal for a new site: Janaki Mandir, Janakpur (Nepal), Puthia (Bangladesh)

The largest standing stele in Aksum I rate definitely as a world-class sight. In a way so simple and so pure. But also so mysterious: how is it possible that …

Thessaloniki is a typical large Greek city. This means four lane roads across the city center, creative parking and so on.
